However, Life had other plans that were to teach me what success meant. It was the money and status of my position was not what I wanted to be. It was as if I wasted my life for an income. I had a love for exercise and having fun and helping people as I navigated towards the new direction in my life. I discovered my passion for training for personal trainers. In 2014, I started my own small business. It will be my seventh anniversary in 2021. Very few Asian women work in this sector. She won her eight year battle with Scleroderma and rests in Heaven along with me in my thoughts and heart throughout the day. Although you may not be able to see it at first, life is a way of offering us the things we need. My mother's death has changed my life in a profound way and I think she was the one who gave me a second chance in life. On Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. It was now time for her to move on to the next chapter in her story as well as my opportunity to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. As I enter my 30's, I am alive and conscious I am truly aware that I am living now and not just living the way the way I did in my former.
