Robyn Rihanna, better known for her stage name Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian performer and musician who has penned the most popular tracks like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is among the most popular artists in history. In her prime she's sold over 150 million tracks as well as 41 million CDs across the globe. She was born in Barbados and grew up with reggae. After she learned to sing, she became a professional performer. She was irritated by the chaos in her family and constant disagreements between her parents. Thus, she started to immerse herself into music. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group and was then invited to sing for Evan Rodgers. The producer was awestruck by her talent. The singer was popular among teens for her upbeat dance music, which was a hit. This led to Rihanna becoming a director. Pretty young and highly talented she's today considered the teen idol of today and also a style icon. Rihanna also puts her fame for good and is actively involved with several charity causes.
